Meijer is set to introduce a baby gear recycling event across all its supercenter locations from October 27 to November 9. This initiative aims to offer customers a sustainable way to dispose of unwanted, expired, or damaged baby items such as car seats and strollers. Participants will receive a redeemable code via mPerks for a 25 percent discount on select baby gear, including car seats, booster seats, strollers, travel systems, bassinets, and play yards.
"Car seats and strollers are expensive items that are constantly evolving to meet the safety and regulatory standards of baby gear," stated Marlys Roberts, Director of Merchandise at Meijer. "Once expired or grown out of, these items are hard to recycle. We want to offer families the opportunity to safely recycle various baby items and be rewarded with more affordable access to essential items."
Customers can bring eligible items to their local Meijer supercenter's designated area near the customer service desk. The redeemable offer code provided can be used twice during the redemption period from October 27 through November 23.
"As a mother myself, this event will greatly benefit both new and seasoned parents alike who are looking for an easy way to recycle their various baby equipment," added Roberts.
