The HAC Volleyball evaluations for the 2025 season are scheduled to take place at the end of February. Practices will commence in the following week. Evaluations aim to assess individual player talent levels to form balanced teams.
The evaluation schedule is as follows:
- 7th & 8th Grade: Thursday, February 20th, from 6-7:30 pm at William E Young School.
- 3rd & 4th Grade: Monday, February 24th, from 6-7:30 pm at William E Young School.
- 5th & 6th Grade: Tuesday, February 25th, from 6-7:30 pm at William E Young School.
Check-ins will occur during the first half-hour, followed by an hour of evaluations. Rookie volleyball players are not required to attend these evaluations as their roster and schedule have already been posted.
Rich Swiatek, HAC's Vice President of Volleyball, emphasized the importance of attending evaluations to ensure balanced team formation. However, he assured that players unable to attend would still be placed on a team without needing to notify HAC. Due to space limitations, only players and coaches are permitted in the gym during evaluations.
Teammate requests will be considered only for those who attend evaluations and are not guaranteed. The sole way to ensure playing with a friend is through coaching together.
HAC is seeking additional coaches across all levels. Coaches receive a T-shirt, Hoodie, and a $50 gift card for their efforts.
