Residents of Homer Glen are invited to participate in a free shredding event on Saturday, April 5. The event will take place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Village Hall located at 14240 W 151st Street, right in front of the building.
The event is sponsored by The Dan Kenney Group - KW Preferred Realty. It provides an opportunity for individuals to dispose of documents and confidential papers that are no longer needed. This includes items containing personal information such as social security numbers, credit card details, and bank account numbers.
PROSHRED will be present on-site to handle the shredding process. The service is offered courtesy of the local real estate team, the Dan Kenney Group, and The Village of Homer Glen.
Organizers have clarified that this complimentary service is intended for individuals with personal household documents only and not for businesses requiring professional shredding services. No appointment is necessary to attend the event. Additionally, participants do not need to remove paper clips or staples from their documents before bringing them for shredding.
