To qualify as a candidate for elected office, specific criteria must be met. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, eligible and registered to vote, and have lived in Homer Glen for at least one year before appointment or election. U.S. citizenship is also required. Additionally, candidates must complete Open Meetings Act (OMA) training.
