Throughout his military career, Art received numerous accolades, including the Good Conduct Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal, Rifle Sharpshooter Badge, Pistol Expert Badge, United Nations Medal, National Defense Service Badge, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.
Art, whose passions also included the open road, enjoyed motorcycle rides through scenic routes and shared his love for mechanics by working on cars with his sons. His biggest source of pride and joy were his children, Aiden, Alex, Analise, Anthony, and Vincent.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Richard J. Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 12641 W. 143rd St, Homer Glen, from 9:00 am until the Chapel Service at 12:00 pm. A private burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
