The Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give has announced a new contest to celebrate Father's Day weekend, offering families the chance to win an "Inside the Ropes" experience. Participants are invited to submit a 400-word essay detailing why their father or positive role model deserves this exclusive opportunity at the 2025 Meijer LPGA Classic.
Essays should express excitement about sharing this experience during Father's Day Weekend. Youth aged 17 and under can participate if an adult submits their entry. Submissions must be entered at meijerlpgaclassic.com/fan-experience#fathers-day-contest by May 25.
Each day of the tournament, one winner and their father figure will be selected to walk inside the ropes with LPGA professionals. Winners will receive two Inside the Ropes Credentials, free admission on their chosen day, a $500 donation in their name to Meijer Simply Give program, and a $50 Meijer gift card.
"The Meijer LPGA Classic is all about bringing families together and supporting our communities," said Cathy Cooper, Executive Director of the Meijer LPGA Classic. "This opportunity is a special way for us to celebrate the incredible fathers and role models who make a difference every day."
The tournament will take place from June 12-15 at Blythefield Country Club and will feature top female golfers worldwide. The event supports hunger relief through the Simply Give program, having raised over $12 million previously.
Fathers will receive free general admission on June 15 in honor of Father's Day. Military personnel with proper identification will also gain free access throughout all four days of play.
