Village warns of unauthorized ice cream trucks

According to the Village Code Section 83 (83-6.13), selling ice cream from trucks is prohibited in the Village unless the vendor has received specific approval for a Village Special Event.

Residents are advised that if they observe an ice cream truck in their neighborhood, it has not been authorized by the Village. Furthermore, there is a possibility that it does not possess a valid food safety license from Will County.

The Village encourages residents to exercise caution and report any concerns regarding unauthorized ice cream trucks.
