James Wall, aged 90, passed away peacefully on Memorial Day, May 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Rita D. Wall and the loving father of James Wall, Jeanne Webster, and Michael Wall. James was the cherished grandfather of Brendan, Broderick, Michael, Ryan, Kevin, Thomas, Marie, Anthony, Juliana, and Daniel, and the great-grandfather of Ellyn and Hope. He was the devoted brother of Mary Shaughnessy and brother-in-law of James Begley, and the son of the late James and Irene Wall. James was also a beloved brother of the late Colette Begley and Regina Arndt and the treasured uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews.
A visitation to honor James will take place on Saturday, May 31, starting at 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Richard J. Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Homer Glen. The service will continue to St. James at Sag Bridge Catholic Church for Mass at 12:15 p.m., followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
