Basketball evaluations start today; players urged to participate

Basketball evaluations are set to begin today, aimed at assessing the skill levels of individual players to form balanced teams. Participation is encouraged, but those unable to attend will still be assigned a team by the VP of Basketball without needing to inform HAC.

Teammate requests will only be considered for players who attend evaluations, and such requests are not guaranteed. Volunteering as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach with another parent or guardian is the only way to ensure specific teammate pairings.

The schedule for this week includes:

- Monday: 3rd and 4th Grade Girls at Homer Junior High from 7-8 pm, followed by a Coaches Draft from 8-9 pm.

- Tuesday: 3rd and 4th Grade Boys at Homer Junior High with Last Name A-L from 6-7 pm, Last Name M-Z from 7-8 pm, and a Coaches Draft from 8-9 pm.

Next week's schedule features:

- Tuesday:

- 5th and 6th Grade Boys at Young School from 6-7 pm with a Coaches Draft from 7-7:30 pm.

- 7th and 8th Grade Boys at Young School from 7:30-8:30 pm with a Coaches Draft from 8:30-9 pm.

- Wednesday:

- 5th and 6th Grade Girls at Young School from 6-7 pm with a Coaches Draft from 7-7:30 pm.

- 7th and 8th Grade Girls at Young School from 7:30-8:30 pm with a Coaches Draft from 8:30-9 pm.

Rookie basketball participants do not need to attend evaluations. Their rosters have been posted, with practices and games starting on November 2nd.
