Meijer, a retailer based in the Midwest, announced that its Michigan customers saved nearly $200 million over the past year through the mPerks digital rewards program. This program provides savings on groceries, general merchandise, and fuel. Each week, more than $1,000 in mPerks savings is available through the Meijer app. For 15 years, mPerks has offered customers discounts on essential products and exclusive rewards.
"Now more than ever, we know shoppers are looking for value, and that every dollar counts," said Emily Henao, Meijer's Vice President of Digital Experience. "Our customers know us as a reliable one-stop shop committed to providing the best value and convenience possible, and we hope they take full advantage of the savings and rewards that free mPerks membership offers."
This summer until August 16th, mPerks users can earn 30 points per gallon at Meijer Express fuel stations. The company has also introduced Quick ID which allows users to link their credit card to their mPerks account for easier transactions without needing a phone number or PIN.
In 2023, Meijer improved the mPerks program to simplify saving on groceries, merchandise, online delivery, and fuel while offering personalized rewards. Customers earn points by entering their mPerks ID at checkout and can apply these points toward various savings options in the app.
Signing up for mPerks is free via meijer.com/mperks or through the Meijer app.
Meijer operates over 500 locations throughout the Midwest with more than 70,000 employees dedicated to providing an efficient shopping experience both in-store and online. Known as a Great Place to Work, Meijer donates at least six percent of its profits annually to community initiatives.
