Homer Heat 18U wins first place at Blazing Bats Slugfest

Homer Heat 18U softball team concluded their journey with a first-place finish at the Seminole Sports Blazing Bats Slugfest in Schaumburg, Illinois.

The players, many of whom began their softball careers in Homer playing tee-ball, have reached the end of their time as a team. Some may continue to play at the collegiate level, while others will retire from the sport. Regardless of their future paths, they played for the love of the game and each other.
