Park Place of Elmhurst has announced that its Assisted Living and Memory Care communities have received The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval. This recognition signifies the facility's dedication to providing high-quality care.

The Gold Seal of Approval is a mark of excellence from The Joint Commission, a nonprofit organization that evaluates healthcare organizations across the United States. It indicates adherence to strict standards in safety, quality, and ethical practices.

The award demonstrates to residents that they receive care meeting the highest standards. It assures them of a supportive environment where their needs are met with compassion and expertise.

In November 2024, Park Place of Elmhurst underwent an intensive three-day onsite review by Joint Commission experts. The evaluation covered various criteria including care coordination, staff knowledge and competency, activity programming, behavior management, and physical environment.

This achievement reflects the commitment and compassion of the team at Park Place of Elmhurst. It reaffirms their dedication to providing exceptional care in a safe environment for residents and their families.

Additionally, Park Place partners with the Alzheimer’s Association to host a monthly Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Group. This group offers caregivers an opportunity to connect and find support from others in similar situations. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month from 9:00–10:00 a.m. in the Private Dining Room at Park Place of Elmhurst.
