Lockport High Girls Volleyball team wins 3rd place at State

Lockport Township High School announced that the Girls Volleyball team secured a third-place finish in the 4A state championship game.

According to the school, Lockport defeated Oswego in the Section Finals with scores of 25-21 and 25-21. In the Super-Sectionals, they overcame Downers Grove with scores of 23-25, 25-9, and 25-22.

The team was eventually beaten in the State Semifinals by Chicago Marist, who won with scores of 25-14 and 25-22. Chicago Marist went on to claim the state championship title.

Lockport High celebrated their achievement on November 22 with a morning parade led by the LTHS drumline.
