As the summer season unfolds, Meijer is making efforts to help families host affordable Fourth of July cookouts. The retailer has announced that customers can expect to spend less than $35 to serve a meal for eight people, including burgers, chicken, potato salad, fruit, dessert, and all necessary accompaniments. This translates to less than $4.50 per person.
Jenn Martin, Vice President of Fresh at Meijer, stated: "As a family-owned company, we want to be sure families can celebrate and relax together this Fourth of July without having to worry about the cost of their celebration." She added that Meijer is committed to providing low prices on essential cookout items so that customers can enjoy the summer season.
In line with this commitment, Meijer had previously announced a price reduction of up to 60% on 70 summer grocery staples through mid-July. Additionally, customers can access over $1,000 worth of mPerks savings weekly through the Meijer app. Signing up for mPerks is both simple and free.
